Exmoor Dark Skies Walking and Star Gazing Holiday

Arrive on Sunday afternoon for a welcoming cream tea and time to settle into your individually decorated en-suite room. After dinner there will be a walk and talk with ESERO-UK Ambassador
Jo Richardson FRAS to enjoy the spectacular display afforded to a Dark Skies Reserve.
Following a hearty English Breakfast on Monday we will transport you for a guided 1/2 day walk around the Tall Trees Trail boasting the Tallest tree in England and then to Dunster to explore the delights of the castle and Medieval Village. After dinner take a closer look at the night sky with a second talk from Jo and a look through the telescope and binoculars.
Tuesday will be a guided morning walk onto the Moor in search of the Wild Red Deer and Exmoor Ponies followed by a visit to the Exmoor Pony Centre to take a closer look at these native wild horses. Tuesday will be an early evening meal and as the sun goes down we will transport you to Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor. On a clear night, we will have a stunning view across the Bristol Channel and an unpolluted view of Exmoor’s night sky. Bring a blanket to layout and gaze at the stars from the vantage point at the top of the beacon.
